21-Meter-Tall "Preah Thong Neang Neak" Statue Arrives in Cambodia

SIHANOUKVILLE: The 21-meter-tall "Preah Thong Neang Neak" statue was delivered to the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port on Friday, 25 March.

The statue of "Preah Thong Neang Neak" was built in China by Khmer people.

The Preah Thong Neang Neak roundabout is located at the intersection of Ream Beach Boulevard and Chumteav Mao Boulevard. This statue will be placed to face the sea, showing the form of the Neang Neak’s journey to meet her parents at Than Phu Chong Neak, which symbolizes the birth of the land, culture, civilization, traditions and customs of Cambodia.
